The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Saturday (26.10.204) appointed eight officers in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary in the Government of India.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Anil Kumar Singhal (IAS:1993: AP), presently in the cadre, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy in place of Vipin Kumar (IAS:1996:BH).
- Vipin Kumar (IAS:1996:BH) has been appointed as Chairman, Airports Authority of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation in the rank & pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy.
- Sushil Kumar Lohani (IAS:1995:OR), presently in the cadre, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
- Nitesh Kumar Vyas (IAS:1996:MP) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Joint Secretary. Presently, he is Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India.
- Rupinder Singh (IAS:1996:MH), presently in the cadre, has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Home Affairs.
- Subodh Kumar Singh (IAS:1997:CG) has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Steel.
- P Krishnamurthy (IAS:1997:AGMUT) has been appointed as Chairperson, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority, Department of Pharmaceuticals in the rank & pay of Additional Secretary. Currently, he is serving in Cadre.
- Sanjiv Narain Mathur (IRAS:1992), presently in the cadre, has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. He replaces Sanjiv Kumar (IAS:1992:AGMUT) who repatriated to parent cadre upon completion of his central deputation tenure on 08.11.2024.
