The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday (06.10.2021) approved the appointment of Major General A K Verma as Inspector General (Training Centre) in the National Security Guard (NSG). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post for period of two years and six months w.e.f. the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation from the Indian Army or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
