The Maharashtra government on Saturday appointed Senior IAS officer Sitaram Kunte (IAS:1985:MH) as the new Chief Secretary of the state. CM Uddhav Thackeray has signed the file, the order will be issued soon.
Kunte will replace the incumbent Sanjay Kumar (IAS:1984:MH), who will superannuate on February 28, 2021. He is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Home.
