Maharashtra: Five IAS officers shifted

The Maharashtra government on Monday issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers, including Asheesh Sharma. Sharma, who was previously serving as the Principal Secretary to Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, has now been transferred to the position of Commissioner of State Tax (GST) in Mumbai.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Asheesh Sharma (IAS:1997:MH), Principal Secretary to Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, State Tax (GST), Mumbai.
2. Pravin Puri (IAS), Joint Secretary, in Water Supply and Sanitation Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Persons with Disabilities in Pune.
3. Deepak Taware (IAS:2013:MH), CMD of Maharashtra State Warehousing Corporation in Pune, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Employees State Insurance Scheme.
4. Vikas Pansare (IAS), Head of Ahmednagar District Caste Verification Panel, has been posted as Additional Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division
5. Aman Mittal (IAS:2015:MH), MD, Maharashtra Petrochemicals Corporation, has been posted as Deputy Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation Department.
