Maharashtra: 8 IAS officers shifted, 3 Districts get new Collectors

The Maharashtra government on Wednesday (21.05.2025) implemented a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring eight IAS officers. As part of the changes, Dhule, Mumbai Suburban, and Amravati districts have been assigned new District Collectors.

In a key appointment, Naval Kishor Ram, who recently returned from central deputation, has been posted as the new Commissioner of the Pune Municipal Corporation.

The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;

1. Naval Kishor Ram (IAS:2008:MH), awaiting posting orders after return from central deputation, has been appointed as the new Municipal Commissioner of the Pune Municipal Corporation.
2. Sheetal Teli-Ugale (IAS:2009:MH), Metropolitan Commissioner, NMRDA Nagpur, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Sports and Youth, Pune.
3. J S Papalkar (IAS:2010:MH), Collector, Dhule, has been transferred and posted as Divisional Commissioner, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Division.
4. C K Dange (IAS:2010:MH), MD, Maharashtra State Fisheries Development Corporation, has been posted as Joint Secretary in the General Administration Department at Mantralaya.
5. Saurabh Katiyar (IAS:2016:MH), Collector of Amravati, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Mumbai Suburban District.
6. Bhagyashree Vispute (IAS:2017:MH), Chief Administrative Officer (New Township), CIDCO at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Dhule.
7. Anand Bhandari (IAS:2017:MH), Additional Settlement Commissioner and Additional Director, Land Records, Pune, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ahilyanagar.
8. Ashish Yerekar (IAS:2018:MH), Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ahilyanagar, has been transferred and posted as new Collector of Amravati.
