Maharashtra: 12 IAS officers shifted; Satara, Pune get new Collectors

The Maharashtra government continues to reshape its bureaucracy, issuing another transfer list of IAS officers on Thursday, which includes the names of 12 officers. Notably, on the last day of 2024, the state government assigned new roles to 8 IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Milind Mhaiskar (IAS:1992:MH), Additional Chief Secretary (1), Public Health Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary (Forest), Revenue & Forest Department.
2. B Venugopal Reddy (IAS:1994:MH), Additional Chief Secretary (Forest), Revnue & Forest Department, Mantralaya, has been
   transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Higher & Technical Education Department.
3. Vikas Chandra Rastogi (IAS:1995:MH), Principal Secretary, Higher & Technical Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary (Agriculture), Agriculture and ADF Department.
4. I A Kundan (IAS:1996:MH), Principal Secretary, School Education and Sports Department, has been transferred and posted as
   Principal Secretary (Labour), Industries, Energy and Labour Department.
5. Vinita Vaid Singal (IAS:1996:MH), Principal Secretary (Labour), Industries, Energy and Labour Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Environment and Climate Change Department.
6. Dr. Harshdeep Kamble (IAS:1997:MH), has been transferred and posted as as Principal Secretary, Social Justice and Special Assistance Department.
7. Dr. Nipun Vinayak (IAS:2001:MH), Project Director, RUSA, Higher Technical Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary (1), Public Health Department.
8. Jayshree Bhoj (IAS:2003:MH), Managing Director, Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation, Mumbai has been posted as Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department.
9. Dr. Suhas Diwase (IAS-SCS:2009), Collector, Pune has been transferred and posted as Settlement Commissioner and Director, Land Records, Pune.
10. H S Sonawane (IAS-SCS:2010) has been posted as Commissioner, Sports and Youth, Pune.
11. Santosh Patil (IAS-SCS:2013), Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Pune, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Satara.
12. Jitendra Dudi (IAS:2016:MH), Collector, Satara has been transferred and posted as Collector, Pune.

On December 31, State government issued transfer orders for 8 IAS officers.

1. Ranjeet Singh Deol (IAS:1998:MH), who was Principal Secretary, Food and Civil Supply, was reassigned as Principal Secretary, School Education and Sports Department.
2. Sachindra Pratap Singh (IAS:2007:MH), previously with the Divyan Kalyan Department, was transferred and appointed as Commissioner, Education Department, Pune.
3. Prashant Narnavare (IAS:2008:MH), Commissioner of Women and Child Development, was transferred to the position of Secretary/Special Inquiry Officer in the General Administration Department.
4. Ashok Karanjkar (IAS:2009:MH) was appointed as the Managing Director of Maharashtra State Finance Corporation.
5. Ruchesh Jaivanshi (IAS:2009:MH), who served as CEO of Umed Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission, was transferred to the position of Secretary, Minority Affairs Department.
6. Pradeep P (IAS:2009:MH), who served as CEO of Maharashtra State Khadi Village Industries Board, was transferred to the role of Commissioner of Fisheries Department.
7. Suraj Mandhare (IAS:2010:MH), the Commissioner of Sports and Youth Affairs, Pune, was reassigned as Agriculture Commissioner.
8. Ravindra Binwade (IAS:2012:MH), who was Agriculture Commissioner, was transferred and assigned as Inspector General of Registration and Stamps.
