Maharashtra: 10 IPS officers shifted; Amitabh Gupta posted as ADGP, Special Cell

The Maharashtra government has recently issued transfer and posting orders for 10 Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and Inspector General of Police (IGP) rank officers.

The names of the officers and their places of postings are as follows;

1. Sunil Ramanand (IPS:1994:MP), ADGP, State Wireless Department and Transport Department, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Planning & Coordination Department.
2. Praveen Salunke (IPS:1995:MH), ADGP, Special Cell, Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Railway, Mumbai.
3. Suresh Mekala (IPS:1997:MH), Controller of Weights and Measures, Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, State Traffic Police, Mumbai.
4. Deepak Pandey (IPS:1999:MH), ADGP, Women and Child Abuse Prevention Department, Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Wireless Department, Pune.
5. Amitabh Gupta (IPS:1992:MH), ADGP, Prisons and Correctional Services, Pune, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Special Cell.
6. Suhas Warke (IPS:2000:MH), Special IGP, Law & Order, Mumbai, has been transferred and posted as Special IGP, Women and Child Abuse Prevention Department, Mumbai.
7. Aswathi Dorje (IPS:2000:MH), Joint Commissioner of Police, Nagpur, has been transferred and posted as Special IGP, State Human Rights Commission, Mumbai.
8. Chering Dorje (IPS:2000:MH), Special IGP, Nagpur Range, Nagpur, has been transferred and posted as Special IGP, Law & Order, Mumbai.
9. Ranjan Kumar Sharma (IPS:2006:MH), Special IGP, CID, Pune, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Pune.
10. DK Patil (IPS), Special IGP, State CID, Pune, has been transferred and posted as Special IG, Nagpur Range, Nagpur.
