M Sathyavati takes over as Member,UPSC

Ms M Sathyavati (IAS:1982:AGMUT), Secretary, Labour & Employment,has taken over the charge of Member, Uniom Public Service Commission(UPSC).She has held several important positions in Govt of India including first woman chief of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Previously she also held important positions namely; Jt DG, DGFT (Min of Commerce); Controller, ISRO Satellite Centre; Member Secretary, Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, and AS&FA Ministry of Civil Aviation.
