The central deputation tenure of M S Subramanya Rao (ISS:2000) as Director, Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has been extended for a period of six months. According to an order issued by the DoPT on Thursday (16.03.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Rao for a period of six months beyond 23.02.2023 and upto 23.08.2023 (in relaxation of extant policy of maximum admissible tenure of 7 years away from cadre) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
