The Madhya Pradesh government on Thursday appointed M Gopal Reddy (IAS:1985:MP) as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Madhya Pradesh chief secretary”s office before he takes charge as the state”s new chief secretary from April 1. Reddy will replace current chief secretary Sudhi Ranjan Mohanty (IAS:1982:MP), who is retiring from service on March 31.
Reddy currently holds the charge Vice Chairman Narmada Valley Development Authority, Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources and Narmada Valley Development as well as Managing Director Narmada Basin Project Company Limited and Officer on Special Duty-cum-Member (Rehabilitation) Narmada Valley Development Authority.
