Llakkiya Karunagaran (IPS:2012:KN) has been appointed as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for a duration of five years. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday (20.02.2024) issued an order, confirming that the competent authority has sanctioned Ms. Karunagaran’s appointment to the position on a deputation basis. The appointment is effective from the date of assuming the charge of the post or until further notice, whichever comes earlier.
