The Modi government on Tuesday extended the term of incumbent Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), Chairman M R Kumar till March 13, 2022, the date he completes three years. Kumar was to retire on June 30, 2021 upon attaining the age of 60 years.
It maybe recalled that Kumar was appointed as LIC Chairman on March 13, 2019.
