Leena Nandan (IAS:1987:UP), currently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, has been entrusted with an additional responsibility. She has been given the additional charge of Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
This decision was confirmed through an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday, August 14, 2023. The competent authority has granted approval for this assignment of additional charge.
Leena Nandan will hold the additional charge from August 16, 2023, to August 23, 2023. This duration corresponds to the period when Arti Ahuja (IAS:1990:OR), the incumbent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, will be on leave.
