The central deputation tenure of Kumar Vaibhav Gaur (IOFS:2002) as Joint Secretary (Director level) in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been extended for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the tenure of Mr. Gaur under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of one year beyond 29.03.2022 and up to 29.03.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
