Kumar Tuhin appointed next Ambassador of India to Netherlands

Senior diplomat Kumar Tuhin (IFS: 1991) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Senior diplomat Kumar Tuhin (IFS: 1991) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Presently, he is serving as Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.

In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said, ” Shri Kumar Tuhin (IFS: 1991), presently Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.”

“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.

Tuhin will replace Reenat Sandhu (IFS:1989), who retired in June 2024.
