After being repariated to state cadre, the Kerala government on Wednesday appointed chief Secretary in waiting V P Roy (IAS:1987:KL) as the officer on special duty (OSD) in the rank of additional chief secretary.
He would take over as the new chief secretary on March 1, it is learnt. V P Joy was serving as Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat in New Delhi. He will have a term as chief Secretary till June 30, 2023.
