Kerala: Major reshuffle in the police administration

The Kerala government on Wednesday (14.08.2024) announced a major reshuffle in the state police department with the transfer of several IPS officers across districts.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Rajpal Meena (IPS:2007:KL), DIGP/ Commissioner of Police, Kozhikode, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Kannur Range .
2. Narayanan T (IPS:2011:KL), District Police Chief, Wayanad, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Kozhikode.
3. Karthick K (IPS:2011:KL), District Police Chief, Kottayam, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau (Hqrs).
4. Chaitra Teresa John (IPS:2015:KL), District Police Chief, Alappuzha, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Kollam City.
5. Vivek Kumar (IPS:2017:KL), Commissioner of Police, Kollam City, has been transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police (Procurement).
6. Sujith Das S (IPS:2015:KL), Superintendent of Police, ATS (Operations), Ernakulam, has been transferred and posted as District Police Chief, Pathanamthitta.
7. Santosh KV (IPS:2015:KL), Commandant, Malabar Special Police, has been transferred and posted as Vigilance Officer, Excise Department (State deputation).
8. Kuriakose VU (IPS:2015:KL), Commandant, Malabar Special Police, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Ernakulam.
9. Sunil ML (IPS:2015:KP), Superintendent of Police, State Special Branch, Thiruvananthapuram Range, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, ATS (Operations), Ernakulam.
10. Arvind Sukumar (IPS:2016:KL), District Police Chief, Kozhikode Rural, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, EOW, Thiruvananthapuram Range.
11. Shilpa D (IPS:2016:KL), Assistant Inspector General of Police (Procurement), has been transferred and posted as District Police Chief, Kasaragod.
12. Gopakumar KS (IPS:2016:KL), Superintendent of Police, EOW, Thiruvananthapuram Range, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Excise (Admin) (State deputation).
13. Bijoy P (IPS:2016:KL), District Police Chief, Kasaragod, has been transferred and posted as Principal, Police Training College.
14. Raju AS (IPS:2016:KL), Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Thrissur, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, Malabar Special Police.
15. Ajith V (IPS:2016:KL), District Police Chief, Pathanamthitta, has been transferred and posted as Special Officer to the Additional Director General of Police, Law & Order.
16. Aji KK (IPS:2016:KL), Superintendent of Police, V&ACB, Southern Range, Thiruvananthapuram, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, State Special, Thrissur Range.
17. Hemalatha (IPS:2017:KL), District Police Chief, Kannur Rural, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, Rapid Response and Rescue Force Battalion.
18. Sunilkumar V (IPS:2017:KL), Superintendent of Police, NRI Cell, PHQ, has been transferred and posted as Chief Vigilance Officer, Travancore Devaswon Board (State deputation).
19. Nidhinraj P (IPS:2019:KL), DCP, Law & Order and Traffic, Thiruvananthapuram City, has been transferred and posted as District Police Chief, Kozhikode Rural.
20. Anuj Paliwal (IPS:2019:KL), DCP, Law & Order and Traffic, Kozhikode City, has been transferred and posted as District Police Chief, Kannur Rural.
21. BV Vijaya Bharat Reddy (IPS:2019:KL), Superintendent of Police, Telecom, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Law & Order and Traffic, Thiruvananthapuram City.
22. Farash T (IAS:2019:KL), Commandant, RRRF Battalion, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Special Operations Group.
23. Taposh Basumatary (IPS:2019:KL), Superintendent of Police, Special Operations Group, has been transferred and posted District Police Chief, Wayanad.
24. Shahul Hameed A (IPS:2020:KL), Commandant, India Reserve Battalion, has been transferred and posted as District Police Chief, Kottayam.
25. Mohammed Nadeemuddin (IPS:2020:KL), Commandant, KAP I Battalion, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, India Reserve Battalion.
26. Nakul Rajendra Deshmukh (IPS:2020:KL), Commandant, Kerala Armed Women Police Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Law & Order 2, Thiruvananthapuram.
27. Arun K Pavithran (IPS:2020:KL), Commandant, KAP IV Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Law & Order and Traffic, Kozhikode City.
28. Juvvanapudi Mahesh (IPS:2020:KL), Superintendent of Police, Railways, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Law & Order 2, Kochi City.
