Former Kerala DGP Loknath Behera (Retd.IPS:1985:KL) has been appointed as new Managing Director (MD) of Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL). The Kerala Cabinet meeting on Tuesday decided to appoint Behera as the MD of KMRL for a period of three years. After completing five years as state police chief, Behera had retired from service in June this year.
