The Kerala government on Thursday (June 5, 2025) carried out a major reshuffle of senior IAS officers, reallocating key positions to enhance administrative efficiency and drive development across crucial departments.
The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;
- Puneet Kumar (IAS:1993:KL), Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Local Self Government Department, has been transferred and posted as Resident Commissioner, Kerala House, New Delhi against ex-cadre post created for one year in the Chief Secretary Grade. He will additional charge of ACS, Local Self Government Department.
- Mohammed Hanish APM (IAS:1996:KL), Principal Secretary, Industries Department will hold the full additional charge of Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department in addition to the existing additional charges.
- Biju K (IAS:2006:KL), Secretary, Public Works Department will hold the full additional charge of Special Officer, Capital
Region Development Project-II, in addition to the existing additional charges. - Dr. K Vasuki (IAS:2008:KL), Secretary, Labour and Skills Department will hold the full additional charge of General Education Department, in addition to the existing additional charges.
- Anupama T V (IAS:2010:KL), Special Secretary, Local Self Government Department will hold the full additional charge of the post of Special Secretary (Co-ordination).
- Mohammed Y Safirulla K (IAS:2010:KL), Special Secretary, on return from Study leave, has been posted as Staff Officer to Chief Secretary.
- Dr. Veena N Madhavan (IAS:2010:KL), Special Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, has been transferred and and posted as Special Secretary, Co-operation Department. The officer will hold the full additional charges of Special Secretary, Planning and Economic Affairs Department and Member Secretary, Kerala State Planning Board.
- Sreelakshmi R (IAS:2019:KL), Staff Officer to Chief Secretary is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Kerala Goods and Services Tax Department against the ex-cadre created for a period of one year.
