Karthik Malladi (IPS:2016:MN) has been inducted as Superintendent of Police (SP) in National Investigation Agency (NIA). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Thursday (July 10, 2025), the competent authority approved his central deputation under usual terms and conditions.
Malladi is currently serving as SP of Ukhrul district in Manipur. The MHA has also requested the Manipur government to relieve him immediately so he can assume his new responsibilities at the Centre without delay.
