Karnataka transfers 6 IAS officers; Anjum Parwez gets additional charge of PWD

The Karnataka government on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for six IAS officers across the state. Notably, senior IAS officer Anjum Parwez has been entrusted with additional charge of the Public Works Department.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Anjum Parwez (IAS:1994:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Forest, Ecology & Environment Department, Bengaluru, has been given concurrent charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department, Bengaluru.
2. Rajender Kumar Kataria (IAS:1996:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department, Bengaluru, has been given concurrent charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Bengaluru.
3. Mohan Raj K P (IAS:2007:KN), Secretary, Housing Department, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Bengaluru.
4. Mohan Raj K P (IAS:2007:KN) has also been entrusted with concurrent charge of the post of Secretary, Housing Department, Bengaluru.
5. Dr Selvamani R (IAS:2013:KN), Commissioner for Transport and Road Safety, Bengaluru, has been given concurrent charge of the post of Managing Director, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bengaluru
6. Dr Mahesh M (IAS:2017:KN), awaiting posting, has been posted as Managing Director, Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board, Bengaluru.
