Karnataka: Three IAS officers get concurrent charges, one transferred to new assignment

The Karnataka government on Wednesday (12.02.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for four IAS officers. Three of them have been assigned concurrent charges in addition to their existing responsibilities, while one has been transferred to a new department.

The name of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Major Manivannan P (IAS:1998:KN), Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Bengaluru, has been given concurrent charge of the post of Principal Secretary, Co-operation Department.
2. V Anbukkumar (IAS:2004:KN), Managing Director, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bengaluru, has been given concurrent charge of the post of Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Sciences and Fisheries Department.
3. Manoz Jain (IAS:2006:KN), Secretary, Minority Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology Department. He is also placed in the concurrent charge of the post of Secretary, Planning, Programme Monitoring and Statistics Department.
4. Salma K Fahim (IAS:2006:KN), Secretary, Tourism Department, is placed in the concurrent charge of the post of Secretary, Minority Welfare Department.
