Karnataka: Rajneesh Goel appointed ACS to Chief Minister

Senior IAS officer Rajneesh Goel (IAS:1986:KN) has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Presently, Goel is ACS, Home Department, and will hold the new post concurrently.

In other appointments to the CM’s Office, senior Journalist K V Prabhakar has been appointed as the Chief Minister’s media advisor.

KAS officer Dr. Venkateshaiah has been appointed as Personal Secretary to CM. Further, B Shivaswamy, Joint Director of the Municipal Administration Directorate has been appointed as the Joint Secretary to Chief Minister.

PA Gopal, retired joint secretary of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department has been appointed as Joint Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, while M Venkatesh and KN Vijaya have been appointed as CM’s Officers on Special Duty (contract basis).

Dr. K Vaishnavi, a Karnataka Municipal Service (KMS) Officer, and R Mahadeva, who was serving as Sub-Registrar at Bengaluru’s Ganganagar, have been appointed as Officers on Special Duty.

Senior advocate K Shashi Kiran Shetty appointed as the Advocate General.
