Senior IPS officers Pronab Mohanty (IPS:1994:KN) likely to new Director General of Police (DGP) of Karnataka as incumbent DGP Kamal Pant (IPS:1990:KN) is scheduled to retire on June 30, 2024 after completing 34 years of service. Presently, Mohanty is serving as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Police Computer Wing (PCW). He is likely to be promoted to DGP rank this week.
