Karnataka : P Ravi Kumar to be next Chief Secretary ?

P Ravi Kumar (IAS:1984:KN) is tipped to become the next Chief Secretary of Karnataka in place of T M Vijay Bhaskar (IAS:1983:KN) who is set to retire on December 31.

Bhaskar had taken over the reins in July 2018 following the retirement of then CS K Ratna Prabha.

In terms of seniority, Kumar, 58, is said to be next in line after Bhaskar to take up the top administrative post. He is currently additional chief secretary (ACS) and was earlier ACS to CM B S Yediyurappa.
