Karnataka: Four IPS officers shifted, Alok Kumar posted as ADGP, Traffic & Road Safety

The Karnataka government on Wednesday (07.06.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for four senior IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Alok Kumar (IPS:1994:KN), ADGP, Law & Order, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Traffic & Road Safety, Bengaluru.
2. R Hithendra (IPS:1996:KN), ADGP, Crime & Technical Services, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Law & Order.
3. Umesh Kumar (IPS:1995:KN), ADGP, Administration, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Crime & Technical Services.
4. Soumendu Mukherjee (IPS:1998:KN), ADGP, Police Computer Wing, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Administration.
