Karnataka: Eight DCs among 21 IAS officers shifted

In a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy, the State government on Friday (21.10.2022) transferred 21 IAS officers, and appointed Deputy Commissioners for eight districts.

They are;

1. Kapil Mohan (IAS:1990:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department, Bengaluru, is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Tourism.
2. Anil Kumar TK (IAS:1995:KN), Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Principal Secretary, Revenue Department (Disaster Management, Bhoomi and UPOR), Bengaluru.
3. Dr. Prasad NV (IAS:2004:KN), Secretary, Transport Department is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Secretary to Government, Labour Department, Bengaluru.
4. Jayaram N (IAS:2004:HY), Chairman, Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Bengaluru is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Bengaluru.
5. Dr. Bagadi Gautam (IAS:2009:KN), Deputy Commissioner Mysuru District, Mysuru is transferred and posted as Director, Mines and Geology Department, Bengaluru.
6. Sreevidya PI (IAS:2010:KN), Additional Secretary, Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Centre for e-Governance, Department of e-Governance, Bengaluru.
7. Janaki KM (IAS:2012:KN), Director, Kannada and Culture Department Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Additional Mission Director, Sakala, Bengaluru.
8. Ramesh DS (IAS:2010:KN), Director, Mines and Geology Department, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Chamarajanagara District.
9. Dr. Gopalakrsihna HN (IAS:2012:KN), Commissioner Youth Empowerment & Sports Department, State Youth Centre, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Mandya District, Mandya.
10. Dr. Rajendra KV (IAS:2013:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada District, Mangaluru is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Mysuru District.
11. Ms. Aswathi S (IAS:2013:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Mandya District, Mandya is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Bengaluru.
12. Mullai Muhilan MP (IAS:2013:KN): Deputy Commissioner, Uttara Kannada District, Karwar is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Youth Empowerment & Sports Department, State Youth Centre, Bengaluru.
13. Prabhulinga Kavalikatti (IAS:2013:KN), Managing Director, The Hutti Gold Mines Company Limited, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Uttara Kannada District, Karwar.
14. M S Diwakara (IAS:2013:KN), Additional Director of Agriculture, Commissionarate of Agriculture, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Chitradurga District.
15. Divya Prabhu GRJ (IAS:2014:KN), Managing Director, Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Chitradurga District.
16. Nalini Atul (IAS:2014:KN), Controller of Examinations, Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Chairman, Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board, Bengaluru.
17. Raghunandan Murthy (IAS:2014:KN), Additional Commissioner for Commercial Taxes(Enforcement), Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Haveri District, Haveri.
18. Dr.Kumara (IAS:2015:KN), Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Dakshina Kannada, Mangaluru is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada District, Mangaluru.
19. Bhanwar Singh Meena (IAS:2017:KN), Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Kodagu District, Madikeri is transferred and posted as Controller of Examinations, Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), Bengaluru.
20. Prakash GT Nittali (IAS:2018:KN), Additional Mission Director, Sakala, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Director, Kannada and Culture Department, Bengaluru.
21. Dr. Akash S (IAS:2018:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Kodagu.
