Karnataka: Dr K Ramachandra Rao promoted to DGP rank

Senior IPS officer Dr. K Ramachandra Rao (IPS:1993:KN) has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP). The state government issued the official order regarding his promotion on Saturday. Dr. Ramachandra Rao is currently serving as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and holds the position of Managing Director (MD) at the Karnataka State Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.
