Karnataka : Dr E V Raman Reddy is new ACS to CM

Tha Karnataka government on Monday appointed senior IAS officer Dr. E V Raman Reddy (IAS:1988:KN) as Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister. Former ACS to the CM P Ravi Kumar (IAS:1984:KN) has been transferred as the ACS to the government.

Reddy, however, will also hold charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary to IT/BT and Science & Technology department.

G Kumar Naik (IAS:1990:KN) has been posted as Principal Secretary to the higher education department relieving Reddy of the responsibility.

Naik, however, will continue to hold the post of Principal Secretary (MSME & Mines) in the Industries department.
