Karnataka: 5 DCs among 21 IAS officers shifted

The Karnataka government on Thursday (04.07.2024) made significant changes in administrative setup of the state by issuing transfer orders for 21 IAS officers. The list also includes the transfer of 5 Deputy Commissioners.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Dr. Ram Prasad Manohar (IAS:2010:KN), Director, Department of Tourism, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Department of Urban Development, with concurrent charge of Chairman, Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Bengaluru.
2. Nitesh Patil (IAS:2012:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Belagavi, has ben transferred and posted as Director, MSME, Bengaluru.
3. Dr. Arundhathi Chandrashekhar (IAS:2012:KN), Commissioner of Treasuries, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Panchayat Raj, Bengaluru.
4. Jyoti K (IAS:2012:KN), waiting for posting, has been posted as Commissioner for Textile Development & Director of Handlooms & Textiles, Bengaluru.
5. Sreedhara CN (IAS:2012:KN), waiting for posting, has been appointed as Director, Social Audit, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
6. Dr. Rajendra KV (IAS:2013:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru, has been transferred and posted as Director, Department of Tourism with concurrent charge of Managing Director, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, Bengaluru.
7. Chandrashekar Nayak L (IAS:2013:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Raichur, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Enforcement), Bengaluru.
8. Vijayamahantesh B Danammanavar (IAS:2013:KN), Director, MSME, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Haveri.
9. Govinda Reddy (IAS:2013:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Bidar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Gadag.
10. Raghunandan Murthy (IAS:2014:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Haveri, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Treasuries, Bengaluru.
11. Dr. Gangadharaswamy GM (IAS:2014:KN), Director, Department of Agriculture Marketing, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Davanagere.
12. Lakshmikanth Reddy G (IAS:2015:KN), Managing Director, KEUIDFC, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru.
13. Nitesh K (IAS:2015:KN), Joint Director (Budget and Resources), Finance Department, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Raichur.
14. Mohammad Roshan (IAS:2015:KN), Managing Director, HESCOM, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Belagavi.
15. Shilpa Sharma (IAS:2015:KN), Managing Director, Karnataka Vidyut Karkhane Limited, Benguluru, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Bidar.
16. Dileesh Sasi (IAS:2017:KN), Director, EDCS, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (e-Governance) has been transferred and posted as CEO, E-Governance Centre, Bengaluru with concurrent charge of Director, EDCS, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (e-Governance).
17. Lokhanade Snehal Sudharkar (IAS:2017:KN), Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayath Shivamogga District has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Karnataka Vidyut Karkhane Limited.
18. Shreeroopa (IAS:2018:KN), Director, KSSRDI, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services with concurret charge of the post of Director, Karnataka State Sericulture Research Development Institute, Bengaluru.
19. Gitte Madhav Vitthal Rao (IAS:2020:KN), Deputy Commissioner (Admn.), Kalaburagi City Corporation, has been transferred and posted as General Manager (Rahabilitation & Resettlement), Bagalkote.
20. Hemanth N (IAS:2020:KN), Senior Assistant Commissioner, Ballari Sub Division, Ballari District, has been transferred and posted as CEO, Zilla Panchayath Shivamogga District.
21. Nongjai Mohammad Ali Akram Shah (IAS:2020:KN), Senior Assistant Commissioner, Hospete Sub-Division, Vijayanagara District, has been transferred and posted as CEO, Zilla Panchayatha, Vijayanagar District.
