Karnataka: 14 IAS officers shifted, Ramana Reddy E V posted as Development Commissioner

The Karnataka government on Saturday (11.02.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 14 IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Ramana Reddy E V (IAS:1988:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce and Industries, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Development Commissioner. He is also given concurrent charge as ACS, Dept of Electronics, IT/BT & Science and Technology.
2. G Kumar Naik (IAS:1990:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department, has been posted as Commissioner, BDA. Until now Naik held the BDA Commissioner’s post as a concurrent charge.
3. Kapil Mohan (IAS:1990:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Energy and is placed in concurrent charge as ACS of Tourism Department.
4. Umashankar SR (IAS:1993:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation Department, has been placed in concurrent charge of the Education Department (Higher Education).
5. Rashmi V Mahesh (IAS:1996:KN), Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Revenue Department (Disaster Management, Bhoomi and UPOR).
6. Dr. Selvakumar S (IAS:1997:KN), Principal Secretary, PWD, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Commerce and Industries. He will also hold the concurrent charge as Principal Secretary of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood.
7. Manoj Jain (IAS:2006:KN) has been posted as Secretary, Minority Welfare Department.
8. Dr. Shiva Shankar N (IAS), Executive Director, Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust, has been transferred and posted as MD, Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corportion Ltd.
9. Nalini Atul (IAS:2014:KN) has been posted as Director, Social Audit, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.
10. Mohammad Roshan (IAS:2015:KN), CEO, Haveri Zilla Panchayat, has been posted as MD, HESCOM, Hubballi.
11. Bhoyar Harshal Narayanrao (IAS:2016:KN) has been posted as CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Belagavi.
12. Bhanwar Singh Meena (IAS:2017:KN), Controller of Examination, Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), has been posted as General Manager, Resettlement and Rehabilitation and Land Acuisition, Upper Krishna Project, Bagalkot.
13. Prakash G T Nittali (IAS), Director, Kannada and Culture Department, has been posted as CEO, Chikkabllapur Zilla Panchayat.
14. Nongjai Mohd Ali Akram Shah (IAS:2020:KN) has been posted as Additional Mission Director-2, Sakala Mission, Bengaluru.
15. Ravi M Tirlapur (KAS), Private Secretary to Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Minor Irrigation, has been posted as Deputy Secretary, Begaluru Rural Zilla Panchayat with additional charge of CEO, Bengaluru Rural District.
