Karnataka: 11 IAS officers shifted, Kapil Mohan posted as ACS, Tourism

The Karnataka government on Tuesday (06.06.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for eleven IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Kapil Mohan (IAS:1990:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Tourism.
2. Umashankar SR (IAS:1993:KN), Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperative Department, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department (Higher Education).
3. Manjunatha Prasad N (IAS:1994:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as the Principal Secretary, Cooperation Department.
4. V Anbuk Kumar (IAS:2004:KN), MD, KSRTC, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Agriculture Department.
5. Mohan Raj K P (IAS:2007:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary, Horticulture and Sericulture Department.
6. Dr. Richard Vincent D’Souza (IAS:2007:KN), Secretary, Planning, Programme Monitoring, and Statistics Department has been posted as
   Secretary, Commerce, and Industries Department.
7. Girish R (IAS:2010:KN), CEO, KIADB, has been posted as Director, Mines, and Geology Department.
8. Karee Gowda (IAS:2012:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director, Atal Jana Snehi Kendra.
9. Patil Yalagouda Shivanagouda (IAS:2012:KN), Deputy Commissioner, Tumakuru District is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Agriculture Department.
10. Jagadeesha G (IAS:2012:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Managing Director, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation.
11. Dr. Mahesh M (IAS:2017:KN), MD, Karnataka Soaps & Detergents Limited, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer & Executive Member, Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board.
