Karamjeet Kaur (IES:2012), who was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Defence Production for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (05.11.2024), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Kaur to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of four years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
