K Rajaraman (IAS:1989:TN) was on Monday (28.02.2022) given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Competent Authority has approved the assignment of the additional charge of the post to Rajaraman with immediate effect and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications.
