K Balaji (IAS:2010:UP) has been appointed as Private Secretary to G Kishan Reddy, the Minister for Culture Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region, in the Ministry of Tourism for period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Balaji for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
