Jyoti Mehta (IOFS:1992), currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MoIB), will continue her central deputation for an additional two years. This decision was conveyed through an official order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday, dated September 16, 2023. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted their approval to extend Ms. Mehta’s deputation tenure for a duration of two years, extending beyond November 19, 2023, or until further instructions are issued, depending on whichever occurs earlier.
