Justice SV Bhatti appointed acting chief justice of Kerala HC

The Union government appointed Justice Sarasa Venkatanarayana Bhatti as acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court. The notification in this regard was issued on Friday night.

Justice SV Bhatti’s appointment came following the retirement of present Chief Justice S Manikumar. Recently, the Supreme Court collegium had recommended the appointment of Justice Bhatti as the next Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.

He was the senior-most puisne Judge of Kerala High Court.
