Justice Shamim Ahmed of Allahabad HC transferred to Madras HC

The Union government on Friday (20.09.2024) transferred Justice Shamim Ahmed, a Judge of the Allahabad High Court, to the Madras High Court.

On August 30, the Supreme Court Collegium had reiterated its proposal to transfer Justice Ahmed for better administration of Justice, by rejecting his request for reconsideration of the decision.
