Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra appointed as Chief Justice of Jharkhand HC

The Union government on Friday (17.02.2023) notified the appointment of Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra as Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court. The Supreme Court Collegium on December 13, 2022, had recommended Justice Mishra’s elevation as Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court. Justice Mishra, whose parent High Court is Orissa High Court, is currently a judge of the Uttarakhand High Court.
