The central deputation tenure of Ms. Juhi Verma (IDAS:2010) as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has been extended for two more years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (May 30, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved her tenure extension up to September 27, 2027, beyond the earlier end date of September 27, 2025.
Ms. Verma was initially appointed as Deputy Secretary in MHA in September 2020 for a tenure of four years. On January 1, 2023, her position was upgraded to Director level. Before the completion of her original four-year term, she was granted a one-year extension in 2024. The latest decision now further extends her service in the ministry for another two years.
