The Jammu and Kashmir government on August 1 took a significant step by nominating Santosh D Vaidya (IAS:1998:AGMUT), a senior IAS officer and Principal Secretary of the Finance Department, as a Director on the Board of the Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh Finance Corporation (JKLFC).
The nomination of Santosh D Vaidya as Director on the JKLFC Board is a partial modification of a previous government order (Government Order No 705-JK(GAD) of 2023 dated June 16, 2023).
The order formalizing Santosh D Vaidya’s nomination was issued by GAD department. This move showcases the government’s commitment to bolstering financial operations and management in the regions of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh through the inclusion of an experienced and capable IAS officer on the Board of the JKLFC.
