The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday (25.04.2023) relieved senior IPS officer Dinesh Rana (IPS:1996:AGMUT), ADGP, Coordination, PHQ to enable him to take up the new assignment in the central government as Inspector General (IG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). On March 12, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued Rana’s appointment order with CRPF as IG for four years on deputation basis.
M K Singh (IPS:1996:AGMUT), ADGP, Headquarters, PHQ, has been given the charge of ADGP, Coordination, PHQ till further orders.
