The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday (26.09.2023) appointed Mr. Dheeraj Gupta (IAS:1993:AGMUT) to the additional role of Chairman of the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE). This appointment, outlined in a government order, specifies that Mr. Gupta will fulfill the duties of Chairman in addition to his existing responsibilities until further notice. This interim arrangement is in lieu of Raj Kumar Goyal (IAS:1990:AGMUT), Financial Commissioner (ACS), Home Department. Currently, Mr. Dheeraj Gupta serves as the Principal Secretary to the Government in the Department of Forest, Ecology, and Environment.
