J&K : 09 senior IPS officers transferred

Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday (06.05.2021) issued transfer and posting orders of nine top ranking police officers in the union territory.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. V K Singh (IPS:1987:JK) : Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and State Disaster Relief Force.
2. Dr. B Srinivas (IPS:1990:JK) : DGP, Prisons with additional charge of Director, Fire & Emergency Service.
3. R R Swain (IPS:1991:JK) : Special DG, CID.
4. A K Chaudhary (IPS:1991:JK) : Special DG, Crime.
5. S J M Gillani (IPS:1994:JK) : ADGP, Armed.
6. Abdul Gani Mir (IPS:1994:JK) : MD, J&K Police Housing Corporation.
7. Mukesh Singh (IPS:1996:JK) : ADGP, Jammu.
8. M K Sinha (IPS:1996:JK) : ADGP, Hqrs. PHQ.
9. Danesh Rana (IPS:1996:JK) : ADGP, Coordination, PHQ.
