The Jharkhand government on Monday (13.03.2023) appointed senior IAS officer Vandana Dadel (IAS:1996:JH) as Principal Secretary to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The post has been vacant since Rajiv Arun Ekka (IAS:1994:JH) was transferred to the Panchayati Raj department after the BJP exposed his dealings with government files in the private office of a power broker.
Dadel has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary of the crucial Personnel and Home departments.
According to a notification, Jitendra Kumar Singh (IAS:2008:JH), Director, Industries with additional charges of MD, JIIDCO, Mines Commissioner and MD, JIADA, has been transferred and posted as Incharge Secretary, Industries Department with additional charge of MD, JIADA, and Mines Commissioner.
