Jharkhand: Major reshuffle in bureaucracy, 14 districts get new Deputy Commissioners

The Jharkhand government on Tuesday (25.07.2023) reshuffled its bureaucracy by appointing new Deputy Commissioners in 14 districts.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Anjaneyulu Dodde (IAS:2011:JH), Deputy Commissioner, Palamu, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Dumka.
2. Manjunath Bhajantri (IAS:2011:JH), Deputy Commissioner, Deoghar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Jamshedpur.
3. Ravishankar Shukla (IAS:2012:JH), Deputy Commissioner, Dumka, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Seraikela-Kharsawan.
4. Shashi Bhushan Mehra (IAS), DDC, Giridih, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Jamtara.
5. Mritunjay Baranwal (IAS:2013:JH), Registrar, Cooperation Societies, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Pakur.
6. Ajay Kumar Singh (IAS), Director, Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority (JIADA), has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Simdega.
7. Shashi Ranjan (IAS:2013:JH), Deputy Commissioner, Khunti, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Palamu.
8. Varun Ranjan (IAS:2014:JH), Deputy Commissioner, Pakur, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Dhanbad.
9. Karn Satyarthi (IAS:2014:JH), Commissioner, Excise, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Gumla.
10. Megha Bhardwaj (IAS:2016:JH), Joint Secretary, Health Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kodarma.
11. Chandan Kumar (IAS:2015:JH), Director, Agriculture, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ramgarh.
12. Himanshu Mohan (IAS:2016:JH), Joint Secretary, Tourism, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Latehar.
13. Vishal Sagar (IAS:2016:JH), Director, Information Technology, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Deoghar.
14. Lokesh Mishra (IAS:2016:JH), Commissioner, Tribal Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Khunti.
