Jharkhand : DGP Neeraj Sinha to continue till Feb 2023

The Jharkhand government on Friday given an extension to the incumbent DGP Neeraj Sinha (IPS:1987:JH) for a period of two years. Sinha will now continue as the DGP of the state till February 11, 2023.

Sinha was named Jharkhand’s DGP, replacing incumbent MV Rao (IPS:1987:JH), on February 11 this year. He was appointed to the post without the mention of any specific tenure in the notification.
