Jharkhand : 6 IPS officers shifted, 4 promoted to DIG Rank

In a recent move to tone up the state’s police administration, the Jharkhand government on Thursday (07.04.2022) issued transfer and posting orders of 6 IPS officers across the state. Amidst the shift over four IPS officers have been promoted to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) rank.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Anish Gupta (IPS:2006:JH) : DIG, Ranchi.
  2. Ajay Linda (IPS:2006:JH) : DIG, Kolhan, Chaibasa.
  3. Deepak Kumar Sinha (IPS:2008:JH) : DIG, Home Guard and Fire Services.
  4. Shams Tabrez (IPS:2008:JH) : DIG, Budget, Ranchi.
  5. K Vijay Shankar (IPS:2018:JH) : SP City, Jamshedpur.
  6. Mukesh Kumar Lunayat (IPS:2018:JH) : SP Rural, Jamshedpur.
