Jharkhand: 24 IPS officers shifted, RK Mallick posted as ADGP, Headquarters

In a significant overhaul of the police administration, the Jharkhand government on Tuesday (27.02.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 24 IPS officers, encompassing positions of ADGP, IGP, DIGP, and SP ranks.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. RK Mallick (IPS:1992:JH), ADGP, Telecommunication & Technical Services, with additional charge of ADGP, JAP, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Headquarters, Ranchi with additional charge of ADGP, Telecommunication & Technical Services, Ranchi.
2. Prabhat Kumar (IPS:2004:JH), IGP, Provision with additional charge of IGP, Special Branch, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Special Branch, Ranchi.
3. Pankaj Kamboj (IPS:2005:JH), IGP, ACB, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Provisioning, Ranchi.
4. Rajkumar Lakra (IPS:2005:JH), IGP, Palamu Range, Palamu, has been transferred and posted as IGP, JAP, Ranchi.
5. Narendra Kumar Singh (IPS:2006:JH), IGP, Rail, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Palamu Range, Palamu with additional charge of IGP, Rail, Ranchi.
6. Ajay Linda (IPS:2008:JH), DIG, Kolhan Range, Chaibasa, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Home Guard & Fire Services.
7. Manoj Ratan Chothe (IPS:2010:JH), DIG, Special Branch, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Kolhan Range, Chaibasa.
8. Karthik S (IPS:2010:JH), DIG, Rail, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Special Branch, Ranchi.
9. Shailendra Prasad Barnwal (IPS:2010:JH), DIG (SIB), Special Branch, has been transferred and posted as DIG, ACB, Ranchi.
10. Y S Ramesh (IPS:2010:JH), DIG, Home Guard & Fire Services, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Budget, Ranchi.
11. Sumit Kumar Agarwal (IPS:2019:JH), waiting for posting orders, has been posted as SP, Traffic, Ranchi.
12. Praveen Pushkar (IPS:2020:JH), waiting for posting orders, has been posted as SP, Rail, Jashedpur.
13. Shambhu Kumar Singh (IPS:2016:JH), SP, Special Branch, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as SP, Gumla.
14. Harvinder Singh (IPS:2018:JH), SP, Gumla, has been transferred and posted as SP, Telecommunication & Technical Services.
15. Anand Prakash (IPS:2012:JH), SP, Telecommunication & Technical Services, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, JAP-06, Jamshedpur.
16. Mumal Rajpurohit (IPS:2020:JH), Assistant SP, Hqrs-1, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as SP, Special Branch, Ranchi.
17. Rishabh Kumar Jha (IPS:2016:JH), SP, Jamshedpur, has been transferred and posted as SP, STF, Ranchi.
18. Anjani Anjan (IPS:2016:JH), SP, Latehar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Rural, Ranchi.
19. Dr. Vimal Kumar (IPS:2017:JH), SP, Seraikela-Kharsawan, has been transferred and posted as SP, Ramgarh.
20. Rakesh Ranjan (IPS:2017:JH), SP, Chatra, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, JAP-1, Ranchi.

24. Chandan Kumar Jha (IPS:2011:JH), SP, JAPT, Padma, has been given additional charge of SP-cum-Deputy Director, Jharkhand Police Academy, Hazaribagh.
