Jharkhand: 19 IAS officers shifted, Ananya Mittal posted as DC, Jamshedpur

The Jharkhand government on Monday (12.02.2024) implemented a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, issuing transfer and posting orders for 19 IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Ajay Kumar Singh (IAS:1995:JH), Principal Secretary, Rural Works Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Health,
   Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Ranchi, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat and Vigilance Department.
2. Vandana Dadel (IAS:1996:JH), Principal Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, and Vigilance Department, with additional charge of Principal
   Secretary, Women Child Development & Social Security Department, has been transferred and posted Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Women Child Development & Social Security Department.
3. Manish Ranjan (IAS:2002:JH), Secretary, Department of Revenue, Registration & Land Reforms, Ranchi, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Building Construction Department and MD, Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Limited.
4. Arava Rajkamal (IAS:2008:JH), Incharge Secretary, ST, SC, Minorities & Backward Class Welfare Department with additional charge of Incharge Secretary, Urban Development & Housing Deptt. and Incharge Secretary of Excise & Prohibition and MD, JUIDCO, has been given additional charge of MD, GRDA.
5. Uma Shankar Singh (IAS:2009:JH), Incharge Secretary, School Education and Literacy Department, has been given additional charge of CEO, Sidho-Kanho Agriculture and Forest Produce State Co-operative Federation Limited (SIDHKOFED).
6. Manjunath Bhajantri (IAS:2011:JH), Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur with additional charge of Settlement Officer, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, has been transferred and posted as Administrator, Subarnarekha Project, Jamshedpur.
7. Pawan Kumar (IAS:2011:JH), Additional Secretary, Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development, Ranchi, with additional charge of Director, Employees’ State Insurance Scheme, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Project Director, Jharkhand AIDS Control Society, Ranchi.
8. Sanjeev Kumar Besra (AS:2012:JH), Labour Commissioner, Ranchi with additional charge of Director, Employment & Training, has been given additional charge of Mission Director-cum-CEO, Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society, Ranchi.
9. Akanksha Ranjan (IAS:2013:JH), Director, Handloom, Silk & Handicraft, Ranchi with additional charge of MD, Jharkhand Exploration and Mining Corporation Limited, Ranchi and MD, JHARCRAFT, has been given additional charge of MD-cum-CEO, Mati Kala Board, Ranchi.
10. Shashi Ranjan (IAS:2013:JH), MD, Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority, Ranchi with additional charge of CEO, Chief Minister Small and Cottage Enterprises Development Board (CMSEDB) and Director, Mining, Ranchi, has been given additional charge of MD, JSMDC, Ranchi.
11. Satyendra Kumar (IAS:2014:JH), Additional Secretary, Labour Employment, Training & Skill Development Deptt., has been transferred and posted as MD, Jharkhand State Food Corporation, Ranchi.
12. Madhavi Mishra (IAS:2015:JH), MD, Jharkhand Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (JIIDCO), has been given additional charge of Executive Director, Jharkhand State Aarogya Society (JSAS), Ranchi and MD, Jharkhand Medical & Health Infrastructure Development Development & Procurement Corporation Limited, Ranchi.
13. Ananya Mittal (IAS:2015:JH), Deputy Commissioner, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Magistrate & Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur with additional charge of Settlement Officer, Jamshedpur.
14. Ram Nivas Yadav (IAS:2015:JH), Deputy Commissioner, Sahibganj, has been transferred and posted as Director, Higher Education, Ranchi.
15. Jadhav Vijaya Narayan Rao (IAS:2015:JH), Additional Secretary, Planning & Development Department, Ranchi has been transferred and posted as Deputy Magistrate & Deputy Commissioner, Chaibasa.
16. Garima Singh (IAS:2016:JH), Director, Higher Education, Ranchi with additional charge of Director, Technical Education, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Magistrate & Deputy Commissioner, Latehar.
